Take a drive to nearby Abbotsbury and visit the Swannery and then drive on to West Bay, famous for the ITV drama Broadchurch. A little further to the West of Abbotsbury is the Georgian market town of Bridport with its bi-weekly street markets, England’s oldest family run business in Balsons butchers (est 1515), Leakers artisan bakery and Snooks hats, amongst many interesting shops. This three bedroom stone cottage is ideal for your family holiday at any time in a beautiful Dorset village.

A rural coastal village, with much charm that is set in a West Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with an elevated position above the Fleet Lagoon and Chesil Beach. Known as a Thankful Village, as all men returned from both World Wars, Langton Herring is dotted with pretty thatched cottages and the local pub boasts connections to smugglers and their contraband! A stroll along the adjacent coastal path provides you with spectacular views across the Fleet Lagoon, home to many migrant birds, whilst a trip to nearby Abbotsbury, with its swannery and sub tropical gardens is a must. Visit Weymouth and explore its bustling harbour or just soak up the sun enjoying the watersports and numerous attractions. Should you tire of all this take the scenic coastal journey towards West Bay, the setting for TV’s Broadchurch series. A picturesque village offering a peaceful West Dorset holiday base, which you won’t want to leave!

Note: Audrey's is an old cottage some of the floors are slightly uneven and outside there is a patio area with stone wall and steps to the lawned area (0.8m drop from lawn to patio).

As such the property may not be suitable for people with mobility issues and young children/toddlers
