About this property

… just over a mile from the centre of Chideock, tucked away down a country lane and surrounded by fields, two semi-detached cottages recently converted from golden Quarr-stone barns on a working farm. Spacious, stylish and bright cottages in peaceful countryside, well placed for ‘Jurassic Coast’ fossil hunting.

Perry Hay: Enclosed lawned garden with patio (picnic bench), countryside views and children’s play area (swings, climbing frame, picnic bench), and you can sometimes feed the owner’s chickens and pigs. Steps up to front door. Utility room (washing machine, sink) with plenty of space for wet weather gear and dogs, and loo (washbasin). Stable doors into modern fitted kitchen (microwave, freezer, range-style cooker). Large dining room with pine table/chairs and dresser. Spacious living room with wood floor (rug), big open fireplace (woodburner), several sofas (including double sofa bed), TV and French windows to the garden. Upstairs, three bedrooms − a double with brass bedstead and en suite shower-room suite, another double and a twin (TV/DVD). Family bathroom (suite plus bath-shower).

"Absolutely lovely, comfortable property with a gorgeous location. Loved Stanley the cockerel & his girls greeting us every day. Lots of country walks straight from the front door with amazing views. Just a wonderful, relaxing place that we really didn't want to leave."
