Introducing a fresh and modern hideaway with stunning views over the magnificent Dorset Jurassic coastline, Burton Bay is a delightful architecturally designed cottage for two tucked away at the top of a private gated drive, behind the main house. Whatever the weather, enjoy the wonderful sea view; in the summer the sea reflects the sun's rays and is a vivid azure blue and on greyer days, the waves crash theatrically. A stay at Burton Bay is a luxurious experience; every detail has been thought about with the guest in mind and includes a super comfy bed, designer shower room and stylish kitchen. Why not start the day with breakfast alfresco in the pretty patio garden before enjoying a walk along the coastal path. Two beaches can be reached from Burton Bay; Hive beach is around a 20 minute stroll (2 minutes' drive) and hosts the acclaimed Hive Beach Cafe. Freshwater Beach which is overlooked from the living room is a 10 minute walk. As there are two good pubs in the village, The Anchor which serves fresh local seafood and The Three Horseshoes which serves homemade classics you have the choice for a perfect lunch or dinner (we recommend booking in advance). A conveniently located village post office / farm shop and mini supermarket provide grocery essentials. Nearby you can try the Bridport Golf Course, visit the pretty harbour at West Bay or try fossil hunting along the coast. Returning home in the evening settle down for the home cinema experience - don't forget the popcorn and a selection of DVDs!
Guests should be aware that the property is situated just outside Burton Bradstock village and care should be taken if walking the short distance where there is no footpath into the village.
