Perfect for a romantic getaway and located in the pretty Dorset village of Burton Bradstock, Langdon is a self-contained detached cottage. Hive Beach, a pebble beach with attractive sandstone cliffs is just a stroll away and perfect for enjoying the sun or, on cooler days, beachcombing. The Hive is a well renowned seafood cafe located on the beach offering fantastic views of Lyme Bay and the iconic Jurassic coast as well as a great range of local food and fish. The pretty lanes in and around the village are the ideal location for a walk and, with two excellent pubs. A small post office store is a couple of minutes away on foot as is the store at the petrol station which sells all the basic necessities. A larger supermarket is located on the outskirts of Bridport. Set a short distance back from the main road through the village, Langdon is a cosy character property with parking, ideal for couples looking to explore the local area. Bridport, with its busy farmers market, weekly antiques and collectables market and array of interesting shops, is just a couple of miles away. If you play golf, visitors are made welcome throughout the year at the nearby West Dorset Golf Club. An outing to West Bay, which is less than two miles away, gives you a chance to explore the colourful fishing harbour and to sample some of the locally caught crabs and lobsters.

Accommodation: Half flight of wood steps up. Open plan kitchenette / lounge / diner. Bedroom, double bed. Bathroom, bath with shower over, hand basin and toilet.

Services in addition to standard equipment: Wifi. Gas fired central heating, fridge with small ice box, 32" flat screen TV, DVD player. Off road parking space. Bed linen and towels are inclusive. Langdon accepts short breaks throughout the year with owner's permission, apart from school holidays which can be booked at very late availability.

    Lovely cottage with everything you could need. Owners very welcoming and checked if I needed anything. Nice to have central heating and plenty of hot water. It was Ideal for me and my dogHattie a cockerpoo No garden but bus stop with grass opposite for late night tinkles for Hattie. Also shop and pub only minutes away. Stayed September 2017.
