Little Perhay won’t fail to delight with modern facilities with a hint of Moroccan flair whist retaining plenty of original country character.  The welcoming lounge with its beamed ceiling, flagstone floor and feature inglenook fireplace inset with a wood burning stove is perfect to snuggle up in. This leads into a light and bright dining kitchen with a large picture window with wonderful far reaching views over the fields beyond.  The large table can comfortably seat six guests.  Upstairs two bedrooms are furnished with comfortable beds and enjoy pleasant views.    The sparkling shower room has a unique Moroccan sink.  There is a lovely sunny garden to the front of the cottage to enjoy, and guests are also free to use a nearby field area for picnics.  From time to time the friendly owners will have fresh produce from their garden available.

Enjoy the best of Dorset’s country and coast at Little Perhay, a former farm cottage which has been lovingly refurbished to offer comfortable and characterful year-round holiday accommodation perfect for both couples and families.  Set amongst colourful mature gardens and boasting delightful views over the surrounding rolling countryside, the cottage is only a few miles drive from the coast as well as the bustling market town of Bridport.  Located along a farm track in the small West Dorset hamlet of Waytown, about 5 miles from the coastal fishing harbour of West Bay and just a 10 minute walk from the original River Cottage where Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall`s TV career was first launched. The cottage is set in a small terrace of four former farm cottages in exceptionally beautiful and peaceful countryside. On a clear night the lack of light pollution makes it the perfect spot for star-gazing. The hamlet has a traditional country pub (about 5 minutes’ walk by footpath from the cottage) and is a haven for walkers with a network of footpaths covering the surrounding countryside.

Within easy reach of the Jurassic Coast, it lies 6 miles from the beach at West Bay, where boating and fishing are available, or for those loving market towns then head to Bridport which holds a street market every Saturday & Wednesday, and has many independent shops.

An array of local produce can be bought locally and the village pub is just a short stroll up the lane. Within easy reach is the dramatic World Heritage Jurassic coastline, including Lyme Regis and its famous Cobb (14 miles). The Market town of Beaminster is a short drive, or for those who love a good morning's walk, you can cut through the many public footpaths to Beaminster where you will find plenty of refreshments or a spot of lunch.

Bridport, Charmouth and Lyme Regis are within an easy drive or for those exploring further on a day trip then Abbotsbury, Chesil Beach, Portland are lovely locations.

Local Shop 3 miles in Beaminster, with lots of independent shops, Butchers, Bakery, Cafe's, local Hardware shop.  Nearest town is Bridport which has several supermarkets, shops and an outside market twice a week.
