The attractive, Victorian wooden pier offers a great place for a stroll or try fishing, and often used a departure point for divers. The historic Swanage Railway has its terminus in the town and regular nostalgic steam engine trips take tourists for a 6-mile journey, chugging through countryside to stop just beyond the romantic ruin of Corfe Castle.

    Parking is tight but we knew that, luckily car park was quiet. Settee was a little uncomfortable at times but more than made up for by the superb location. We hope to be back.

    Too cold for a winter break even with timed heating. Oven broken, owner advised & may repair. Was unable to access gate to external bins. Had to climb on the wall to dispose of rubbish. Property very well presented and immaculate.
