A wonderful place from which to explore the fine, historical town of nearby Shaftesbury and the beauty of the surrounding Blackmore Vale countryside.

"The property is in a good location to explore the towns, cities and attractions the area has to offer and so makes a great base. There are many walks locally, places to visit for both National Trust and English Heritage members, a small airfield for plane enthusiasts, (a nice walk across the fields from Shaftesbury to its cafe) as well as the stunning Dorset coastline. The cottage is well equipped, comfortable and offers a wonderful view from the sitting room windows. We observed deer feeding and a young fox trying to stalk a magpie during one of its morning patrols."

"A gem of a property with wonderful country views. Have had a very enjoyable holiday at Brambles Barn & hope to return soon. It is situated in a very good position to explore the country around Shaftesbury & Shaftesbury can also be reached on foot via a hilly walk but with stunning views as you reach the town. Although close to the busy A30, this was no bother at all."
