Milton Mills Cottage is a pretty thatched cottage located just outside the quaint Dorset village of Milton Abbas.  A quintessential cottage with beamed ceilings and an inglenook fire (not in use).  Surrounded by a garden which is perfect for enjoying the Dorset country sounds of bird song whilst eating alfresco.  Running through the centre of the nearby village is arguably one of the prettiest streets in Dorset. Rows of white-washed thatched cottages stretch up the hill to the horizon. A short stroll up `The Street' top of the hill will reward you with a visit to the popular Hambro Arms, a pet and child friendly pub serving a variety of meals and traditional ales. A post office also supplies basic groceries. Milton Abbey, around a half a mile walk from the village is worth a visit if you are interested in history; it has been the site of an Abbey since 933 and the current Abbey dates from around 1309. The market town of Blandford Forum is a short drive away and as well as being good for shopping it is notable for its attractive Georgian architecture which was erected when it was mostly rebuilt after a fire in 1731. With the Dorset coast around 40 minutes away another good option for a day trip is to enjoy the local world heritage coastline.

Step to back door. 2 sets of stairs to first floor: Bathroom with electric shower, hand basin and toilet, Bedroom 1 double bed, Bedroom 2 twin 3ft singles, walkthrough spare room with wooden cot(and double bed - not in use) to Bedroom 3 double bed.

Please note due to the cottage nature of this property there are some low beams throughout the property.
