Two bedrooms are bright and airy, laced in soothing blues and whites, adding to the feel of relaxation throughout. There is a single exposed beam rested above, bedside lamps, and pretty wall pictures for an all-round calming effect. Zip/link bed options provide guests with the flexibility of dividing the arrangement too. Beyond this, the bathroom is complimented by both a bath and a shower, a luxury set-up, somewhere of quality to get ready each morning that goes by. Nestled alongside the cottage in the main farmhouse is where you will discover the very friendly Owners, who are always on hand to help you make the most of this much desired area. Enjoy the beauty of the secluded valley from the private patio. The patio is next to the well-equipped galley kitchen, making it ideal for alfresco dining. The destination is a home for the nearby livestock and plentiful wildlife surrounding this cottage. Depending upon the season the owner is happy to supply a selection of fresh produce from vegetables and freshly laid eggs to a range of meats; perfect for a cooked breakfast or a barbecue. You really do have the best of both worlds! Within five minutes’ drive you can visit the renowned Tamar Trails which offer something for all the family, you can go biking or walking along the 25 kilometres of trails enjoying the scenery as you go. If a more relaxed day out is what you are wishing for, the characterful town of Tavistock with its daily Pannier Market is only five minutes away.

The market town of Tavistock, the main town of Dartmoor's western moor, is an exceptionally attractive town, owing much to fine Victorian architecture and its picturesque location on the banks of the River Tavy. There is no shortage of shops and cafes in Tavistock, plus the town is home to the purpose built Pannier Market - a must for every visitor.
