This magnificent converted detached barn is spectacularly located on a farm amongst trees on a hill above the Dartmoor beauty spot of Dartmeet where two rivers converge. With an L shaped layout, it is a unique place for large groups of friends or family gatherings to spend time together and enjoy the amazing surroundings. You enter into the vast sitting room with lofty ceiling, glass doors to a balustrade, wood burning stove and big dining area. Off this room, you will find the small but efficient commercial kitchen, well equipped to cater for big groups. A large hall creates another seating area for watching TV or playing pool. There are ten bedrooms in all, with four in the main barn, one upstairs and two downstairs. A few yards across the patio, a door leads to four more bedrooms, two upstairs and two downstairs. The other two en suite bedrooms are found a few yards away, also with their own external entrance, so they are more private. Outside you have sheltered decking with picnic tables and barbecue and the bonus of a great hot tub. You also have use of a sauna. Beyond the barn, lovely walks are signed across the farm, or head out on to the open hills of Dartmoor to walk or cycle. If you prefer guided activities, experience the Landrover tours around the Duchy of Cornwall farm, book guided walks, orienteering and pony riding or arrange tuition on the 30 ft climbing tower (extra charges may apply). With so much to do, you may not want to venture further, but with the market towns of Ashburton and Tavistock nearby and the south coast about 20 miles away, there is plenty to see if you do. Brimpts Barn is a very special place to enjoy the sights and adventures that Dartmoor offers.

Widecombe is tucked away in a Dartmoor valley with the spectacular moorland and tors rising up on all sides, making it a perfect location for walkers, mountain bikers, riders or those that love dramatic landscapes.

Ten bedrooms in three separate areas.

In the barn: 2 x downstairs twins (one with en suite bathroom/shower room suitable for wheelchair users, the other with en suite shower room), 1 x downstairs double with en suite shower room, 1 x upstairs family room with four single beds and en suite shower room.

Upstairs WC with basin.

Across the patio: 1 x upstairs twin with en suite shower room, 1 x family room with twin and bunks and en suite shower room, 1 x downstairs double with en suite shower room, 1 x twin with en suite shower room.

A few yards further: 1 x family room with double and twin and en suite shower room, 1 x double with en suite shower room.

In the main barn, downstairs living/conference room with wood burning stove and dining area.
