This spacious, character cottage is situated in the pretty village of Sticklepath on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park.  Part of an original farmhouse Tarka Cottage has retained many character features including stone floors, beams and large inglenook fireplaces. There are three good sized bedrooms on the first floor one with an en suite and the other two bedrooms are served by a family bathroom.  This pet friendly property also has two large living areas making this ideal for families and groups of friends and the large kitchen/ diner has everything that is needed for preparing and enjoying meals together. A communal garden with garden furniture is available for visitors.

With the wide open countryside and granite Tors of Dartmoor and the Tarka Trail offering miles of footpaths and cycleways on your doorstep this is the most ideal property for those wishing to explore this wonderful landscape on foot, by car, horseback or bicycle. The village is home to the renowned Finch Foundry with its fascinating 19th century water-powered forge.  In addition there are two character inns, both dog friendly and each serving good food within walking distance and the village stores and coffee shop is just 100yds away.  The small town of Okehampton   is just 3 miles away and offers a good selection of individual shops, restaurants and a cinema and you can easily enjoy the historic city of Exeter which is only half an hours drive distant.

Cloakroom with WC and basin. First floor: Bedroom 1 with King. Bedroom 2 with Twin, sloping ceiling and en suite bathroom with bath and electric shower over, basin and WC. Bedroom 3 with Twin.
