Lake House Farm is a spacious wing of a Victorian farmhouse set in an idyllic location just a short walk to the traditional farmyard with pigs, dogs, hens, cats, duckpond etc amidst 120 acres of farmland with crops and livestock. The friendly owner welcomes guests and children to observe milking and help with harvesting, calves etc. The accommodation is of good size, with modest yet comfortable furnishings and benefits from wonderful views of the surrounding countryside from all rooms. There is a nearby duck pond and stream, ideal for fun fishing.

A classic farm cottage set in beautiful peaceful surroundings. Quiet solitude, clear clean air, listening to the sound of the cattle, sheep and owls with no bright lights or loud noise to intrude. If you’re looking for an all singing, all dancing, modern property this isn’t for you. It was clean, comfortable, full of character and we would have no hesitation in rebooking if returning to the area.

lovely people, very relaxing place. Only one lavatory, but not that big an issue. Good outdoor space for children to explore, cows and a bull to see in field and calves on farm to visit. Very local roads are narrow, but not far to main roads and shortish trip to coastal beaches around Bude.
