The Dairy cottage is a lovely country/coastal retreat for couples.

A bright, comfortable holiday cottage, the farm’s former dairy is one of a group of characterful holiday cottages converted from farm buildings. It's entirely independent from, and attached to the main farmhouse where the owners live - so they are on hand if you need anything.

The Dairy has a first floor bedroom with views to the sea, a king-sized double bed and built-in wardrobe.

Downstairs there is a small, well-equipped kitchen, a shower room and a good-sized living room with French doors leading to a terraced area, also with views to the sea beyond the tower of St Nectan’s Church in Stoke.

Guests have the use of the on-site, indoor hot tub and sauna, bookable for private use (generally available from Easter to October, please check).

Outside you can relax in the small sunny seating area, and are welcome to use the meadow/play area with its picnic tables.

The Dairy is one of 6 properties that can be booked together for larger family groups.

North Devon’s Hartland Peninsula is a peaceful Area of Outstanding National Beauty with an Atlantic coastline. The South West Coast Path runs along it with views of Hartland Point lighthouse and Lundy Island. Harland village, a few miles back from the coast, has a post office and general store, and a monthly farmers’ market; potteries and craft shops, a friendly café and pubs serving food. A mile away, is Hartland Abbey House & Gardens (& tea room). Right down at the Hartland Quay there’s a small Shipwreck & Smuggling Museum, a very child and dog-friendly pub and hotel, and a beach. Families with young children enjoy the animals and attractions at the The Milky Way and Wake Park aqua park, and at The Big Sheep near Bideford.
