The guide books supplied not only covered all the local attractions but also more comprehensive literature is supplied on the history and geology of this most interesting corner of North Devon. There is much to see and do without travelling far, and the owner is always on hand to help out if difficulties arise with the cottage facilities. Not having been on a cottage holiday for some years I was surprised that all travel details, equipment manuals and cottage do’s and don’ts are only available online, so a mobile phone is essential.

The cottage was very comfortable and the surrounding area so peaceful. It was good to come back to after a long day walking (sometimes in the rain!) knowing the cottage was warm and welcoming. We would highly recommend a stay here and would definitely book to come again.
