Large enclosed garden to one side (accessed from the front door of the cottage), mostly lawned, with a sheltered patio (table/chairs, barbecue) catching the morning and late afternoon sun; beyond, wooded farmland and lots of footpaths.
Entrance porch (for coats/boots/drying dogs) into fitted kitchen (dishwasher, washer-drier, microwave, fridge-freezer) with slate floor and a half-wall and step down to living/dining room with beautiful oak floor, vaulted ceiling, woodburner, TV/DVD, iPod dock and glazed doors (low lintel) to driveway. Two bedrooms – a double (5’ bed), and a twin (linkable to 6’ double), both with lovely rural views. Excellent bathroom (suite with roll-top bath and separate shower) with porcelain floor. Wood working/furniture making courses available, by arrangement. A great combination of modern comfort and rural serenity.
