This pretty riverside cottage looks out over lush green meadows and woodland to the River Torridge below. Otters Cottage is situated in the small village of Weare Giffard; a rural backwater in the nicest possible sense. Scattered along the river, the village is a picturesque and peaceful place to stay with a lovely village pub, cricket ground, church and childrens' play area, all of which are within easy walking distance of the property. Local shopping is available in Torrington two miles away and the bigger medieval port town of Bideford is ten minutes by car. The beautiful gardens at RHS Rosemoor are a popular attraction and there is plenty of opportunities for coarse and fly fishing locally. Walkers and cyclists will love the 30 mile Tarka Trail which can be accessed nearby and wends its way from Braunton to Meeth through the glorious Devon countryside.  There are wonderful coastal walks less than half an hour away, and the surfing beach and seaside amenities of Westward Ho! offer plenty of family fun. The wide open spaces of Dartmoor National Park can be reached within the hour. A good base all year round, Otters Cottage has a cosy and comfortable living room with an open fire and countryside views and the cheerful country-style kitchen is well-equipped for a family holiday. Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a bathroom. Outside the rear patio has private garden furniture and a barbecue for eating al fresco.

Living room with satellite TV, DVD and open fire.  Kitchen/diner with electric cooker and ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. First floor: Bedroom 1 with Double and en-suite shower room with WC and basin. Bedroom 2 with Twin. Bedroom 3 with Single. Bathroom with shower over bath, WC and basin.
