Natural wood and granite have been carefully preserved to create a characterful and welcoming living space, with a wood burning stove in the living room with its big dining table, and floor to ceiling windows in the kitchen, from where you can wander out to the lovely garden, maybe with a refreshing glass in hand to start the barbecue for an alfresco supper. With two downstairs bedrooms and two upstairs, you are spoiled for choice of sleeping accommodation, ensuring a good night’s rest after wandering the moors and watching the children play on the swings and slide in the garden. With amenities of shops, inns and good eating places in the friendly town of Chagford three miles away, this is a magical place for families to relax, play and watch the moon and the barn owls.

A picturesque town at the northern point of Dartmoor National Park in Devon, Chagford is small in size but is packed with amenities and things to do. There is a wide range of shops as well as four pubs. Chagford also has more active facilities such as public tennis court and an open-air swimming pool to enjoy at your leisure.
