South Devon's magnificent coastline is right on your doorstep, with ever-popular spots such as Teignmouth, Torquay, Exmouth and Dartmouth all within easy reach. For those who prefer the countryside, the imposing Dartmoor National Park is close by, abounding in idyllic walking and cycling country to make the most of. Newton Abbot is in the English Riviera, this market town offers modern shops and the Hedgehog Hospital, as well as a racecourse. The seaside towns of Teignmouth and Shaldon are nearby with beaches and the Victorian Pier at Teignmouth. The Dartmoor National Park is a short distance away for walkers and cyclists.
