With beautiful countryside on your doorstep, including a pretty stream running alongside the cottage, this is the perfect place to get into country life whilst the beaches and Dartmoor are still within easy reach.
Internally, the property is furnished to a high standard with many rooms benefitting from countryside views. Externally, the enclosed patio complete with furniture is ideal for relaxing and enjoying the views.
The bustling market town of Newton Abbot is nearby. Often known as the gateway to the moors and sea, Newton Abbot provides a great base to explore both the rolling hills of Dartmoor and the many coastal towns.
The seaside towns of Teignmouth, Shaldon and Torquay are only a short drive or train ride away and offer a large variety of beaches many of which have the Blue Flag award. You can also expect to find a large selection of restaurants, cafes, bars and attractions to engage the whole family.
For larger groups Watery Lane Cottage can be booked together with Bridleway to accommodate groups of up to 13.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location off the beaten track. But not far from the beach, local towns and tourist places in south Devon. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and will be returning to Watery Lane cottage at some point in the future.

This was the second time we have stayed at Watery Lane Cottage and both were without fault. The cleanliness and quality of the property and its contents were second to none. The attentiveness of the owners was welcoming but not intrusive. Having holidayed with my husband, daughter and her partner, son and his partner and my two young grandchildren I can say that the property was very well equipped for all ages!
