Cherries Cottage is a pretty converted barn set within a courtyard with two other cottages. This is an idyllic location to truly unwind whilst Dartmoor and the beaches of South Devon are within easy reach.
Internally, the property is traditionally furnished with a farmhouse kitchen complete with Belfast sink. Externally, the garden complete with furniture is south facing and enjoys the sun all day.
Cherries Cottage is set in the beautiful countryside of Olchard, an ancient farming hamlet below the Haldon Hills and is surrounded by a number of pretty villages. Ideford and Luton are both within easy reach and benefits from charming pubs serving hearty food. There is a beautiful mile bridleway walk from the property to the pub in Ideford. The small market town of Chudleigh is only two miles away with a number of amenities including a bakery, coffee shop, tea room, pubs, greengrocers and a farmers market on Saturday mornings.
Please note: Cherries Cottage operates on a Friday changeover throughout the year.

Situated on the first floor overlooking the courtyard and garden. Furnished with a double bed, double wardrobe, chest of drawers and two bedside tables with lamps.

Furnished with twin beds, double wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinet and two wall lamps.

Situated on the first floor.
The shower room features a shower cubicle, WC, wash basin, mirror and heated towel rail.

Shared courtyard with two other cottages.
Private lawned garden and terrace complete with furniture ideal for al fresco dining.
Pretty bridleway walk from outside the property leading down the river and continues to Ideford.
Close to the beaches and estuary at Teignmouth and Shaldon.
Off-street parking for two cars.
A short drive away is the charming Ugbrooke House; home to the Lord Cliffords of Chudleigh. The park was designed by Capability Brown and offers glimpses of Dartmoor, mature trees and pretty landscapes to explore. Only a five minute drive away is the acclaimed Haldon Forest Park, offering a wide range of off-road cycle tracks and forest walks as well as benefiting from a nice café.The bustling market town of Newton Abbot is nearby. Often known as the gateway to the moors and sea, Newton Abbot provides a great base to explore both the rolling hills of Dartmoor and the many coastal towns.The seaside towns of Teignmouth, Shaldon and Torquay are only a short drive or train ride away and offer a large variety of beaches many of which have the Blue Flag award. You can also expect to find a large selection of restaurants, cafes, bars and attractions to engage the whole family.
