"Great location, excellent holiday accommodation, fantastic hosts. What more could you want?"L Guy ‐ 23 Jul 2016
"This is a delightful cottage oozing with charm and character. There is ample room in the kitchen for a large table and 4 chairs. The kitchen is very well equipped. The living area is slightly smaller, but in good weather you can spill out to the garden and enjoy outstanding views across the village. In the summer months the garden bursts with colourful flowers and Heather and Bill have created several seating areas for guests to use throughout the garden. Upstairs the master bedroom is comfortable and nicely furnished. The full character of S33945 can be felt in this room with its large window which overlooks the lane behind the School House. The twin room offers fantastic views over the garden and Lustleigh Village itself. A seat is neatly placed in front of the window for you to enjoy these views. A lovely cottage situated in a pretty village. The hosts, Heather and Bill are friendly and welcoming. This is one of the best cottages we have stayed at and found it perfect for a couple."Lou Smith ‐ 29 Jun 2016
"Wonderful cottage with beautiful views in all directions. Cottage so comfortable and warm with everything you need for a great holiday. The owners were very welcoming with lots of ideas of walks from the door and places to visit and to eat. We hope to book the cottage again next year as there is so much more to see and do, a week is not enough!"Mrs Elaine Tanner ‐ 29 May 2016
"Ideal location for those us who wished to leave the car parked and walk straight from the cottage into the gorgeous woods and onto the moor. Make sure you have your legs ready for the steep hills! A comfortable, warm and well appointed cottage, a good welcome back after a day on Dartmoor. The friendly owner not only provided a welcome 'starter pack' of basic foods but was a wealth of local information. And the local shop in Lustleigh was a delightful surprise, supplementing our supplies to keep us well fed for our short week."Holidaymaker ‐ 21 May 2016
"Excellent location. Many beautiful walks in and around Lustleigh...no need to use the car here! Fantastic, warm and friendly hosts. Would definitely stay here again."Tanya ‐ 17 Apr 2016
"This is a lovely characterful place to stay. Comfortable, clean and dry well equipped with everything g you might need including Pictionary. There was a bowl of fresh fruit on arrival and milk, tea and coffee. The owner was welcoming and helpful and the wood burning stove laid and ready to light. Lustleigh is gorgeous with a well stocked village shop/PO and The Cleeve pub serves good beer and food. The perfect base for exploring Dartmoor."T. Dorrity ‐ 22 Feb 2016
"Lovely cottage in a quiet village with walks without having to get in the car. Friendly and helpful owners. Easy access to all parts of Devon and Cornwall. Our second stay here and we hope to come back again before too long."The Scott family ‐ 3 Aug 2015

"Lovely location, very hospitable owners, and quite the best equipped and furnished property we have stayed in especially in the kitchen department. My daughter's face lit up when she saw the piano. Strongly recommended and we are quite hard to please."Mr D. Serpell-Stevens

"Great property, well presented and in the most lovely village with shop and pub."Holidaymaker
"All was as described and Bill and Heather were really helpful and friendly hosts. Other older people like us might find the steepness of the road somewhat difficult when going up to the car space or down to the village."Holidaymaker
"We are very happy with our vacacion in Lustleigh, the Old School. Thanks Bill for the help en tips. The house is a wonder! We'll come back."Mr.Dhoore
"This was a lovely house which had been tastefully converted from an old infant school classroom. The owners were very friendly and helpful, ensuring that tea, coffee and milk were available for our arrival. They also ensured that we knew what was happening in the village, so that we could take part, for example, in a pub quiz night. They also pointed out local walks and provided all the information we might need. We had a great week!"Mr M Pendergast
