About this property

A peaceful, two bedroom eco lodge on the beautiful Indio Lake resortA peaceful, two bedroom eco lodge on the beautiful Indio Lake resort

Set on the secluded Indio Lake resort in the Devon countryside, Gaia Lodge is perfect for a family escape. Wake up to the sounds of the birds in the trees and make your way into the open plan living space to plan your day’s activities, and the floor to ceiling windows flood the room with light so you can enjoy the setting in style.

Step out onto your large furnished terraced area overlooking the beautiful lake, and enjoy that first coffee of the day close to nature. Take in the delightful lakeside views and enjoy the wildlife and water birds that make the lake their home…we can't think of a more idyllic way to enjoy a taste of rural Devon. The table and chairs on the terrace make it easy to dine al fresco on sunny days, and just imagine watching the sun set behind the trees while the kids dream of their adventures.

Back inside, you’ll find the lodge the perfect temperature whatever the season, thanks to the lodge’s natural sheep’s wool insulation and full central heating. And for those times when you need to connect with home or work, you'll find that Gaia's Lodge is equipped with many Hi-Tec features, including super-fast broadband to help make it easy. Wi-Fi is available throughout all rooms of the lodge.

The Indio Lake resort’s popular for its sun-dappled setting close to Dartmoor National Park, so if you’re keen to take in some of the county’s scenery on foot you’ll be able to explore the moorland at your leisure. Indio Lake’s home to two shimmering lakes, Gaia's lodge sits right on the water’s edge enjoying spectacular views from all rooms and the terrace.

...of relaxing. Location is superb for those days you do want to go out exploring. I would highly recommend this place and can see myself returning in the not too distant future. During my stay I visited Exmouth, Exeter, Paignton, Brixham, Newton Abbot and Torquay. If you fancy something more rural, like a walk in the moors, Becky Falls is beautiful. You are so well situated for getting to places, I say just go and explore wherever takes your fancy. Submitted by Paula on 11/03/2018

...Ideal for families or couples. My children loved all the wildlife and feeding the ducks from the deck. Would recommend House of Marbles, Plymouth and Canonteign Falls is an absolute must. Submitted by Kirsty on 15/10/2017
