"The cottage was perfect. The beds were really comfortable, which is really important after a long day at the beach, the shower was great too and it had everything we needed. It is nicely located for getting to Plymouth and we caught the nearby ferry from Mountbatten as recommended by the lovely Gwen, the caretaker. Free parking, cheap ferry fare and a very short hop across for someone like me who doesn't have sea legs! Recommend Wembury beach, 5 minute drive, rock pools with starfish and National Trust cafe for a perfect cream tea."

"We very much enjoyed the cottage and our holiday there. The cottage was equipped with everything we could need and was beautifully situated for enjoying the sea and for trips into Plymouth. Beds were especially comfortable. We were delighted to enjoy the Plymouth fringe festival and our 13 year old son took part in a day course of windsurfing at the very close Mount Batten centre, which was very reasonably priced. Will certainly like to return."

"Super base for exploring the area: warm and cosy for Cristmas . Excellent pub within very easy walking distance too ."
