Alternatively, head to the seaside town of Paignton where you will find a zoo or slightly further is Torquay where you will be welcomed by a larger selection of amenities and attractions to suit all ages and tastes. Stoke Gabriel is a small village resting on the creek of the River Dart in South Devon. Within the village you will find a a village pub, children’s play park, an apple orchard, restaurants, tea rooms and local stores. There is also a popular cafe offering refreshments on the quay which houses opportunities for crabbing. Further afield attractions includes Kingswear, Dartmouth and Brixham.
