This was a fantastic holiday cottage in an excellent location. The high street was a 2 minute walk with lots of cafes, shops and restaurants. It was extremely peaceful during the day and night. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked for home cooking. There are many beautiful beaches a short drive away and many wonderful things to explore in Totnes itself. We would definitely return to this beautiful cottage.

Middle Cottage is wonderfully situated in Totnes, at the top of the town, just set back from the High St. There are lots of things to explore on foot, including a fabulous selection of independent shops, some good restaurants and bars, a garden trail and plenty to do a little beyond. With 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms it suits a family or a group of friends. Totnes has lots to offer and Middle Cottage was exactly what we wanted and expected, though you probably have to be a local to feel anything other than 'tentative' on some of the roads to the cottage. Parking is a bonus, ideally with a small to medium car.

Comfortable, well appointed old cottage conveniently situated at the top of Totnes High Street. No garden, so probably a spring and autumn venue and vehicular access a bit tricky, but an excellent location to explore the local area and Dartmoor.
