From the front garden, a five-bar gate opens to a gently ascending wildlife area, mostly grass with wild flowers, rhododendrons and two small wildlife ponds (unfenced) – a great adventure area for youngsters (small children beware) and those who appreciate butterflies, birds and botany.

Hugely spacious living room with high beams, TV/DVD and double-sided woodburner adjoining a snug with big TV/DVD, all very light and airy; garden room (comfy chairs) opening to patio; large kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, freezer, electric range-style cooker), through to equally large dining room with woodburner and iPod dock. Utility room (washing machine); loo.
