The small village of Beesands is less than a mile away with a shingle beach, beach café and award winning Inn. If you wish to explore further afield Kingsbridge, Dartmoor and Plymouth are all within easy reach. A lovely cottage which can be enjoyed throughout the year.

The fishing village of Beesands is situated within the South Hams area of Devon, within reach of the towns of Kingsbridge and Salcombe. Beesands has a Blue Flag shingle beach, a village green, a beach shop and café, a fishing tackle shop, the award-winning Cricket Inn and a large freshwater lake. Blackpool Sands and Torcross, a historic site where the Normandy landings were practiced, are both nearby. Park at East Portlemouth and catch the ferry across to seaside town of Salcombe, or visit the Start Point Lighthouse, which is a few miles away. Beesands is a wonderful base for uncovering the beauty of Devon and the South Hams, all year round.
