Surrounded by its own steep (toddlers beware), mainly lawned garden (table/chairs) and backing on to woodland, the house ranges over three levels to make the most of the superb position and views.
Steep twisting tarmac drive up to two flights of steps (handrail) to the front door. Entrance hall with porthole windows; 4 steps down to lofty, spacious living room (open fire, TV) with sliding windows to sun terrace and exceptional views over the beach. Dining room with glass table and sliding doors to terrace. Good-sized, exceptionally well-equipped kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave, two fridge-freezers, two ovens/hobs) with breakfast table for 6 and door to rear garden. Small snug/playroom (TV) with French windows to garden.
Three steps down to two bedrooms – a double (6’ bed, TV), and a twin; smart family shower-room (suite, bidet). Further stairs down to three more bedrooms – the huge master double (6'6" bed) with TV, dressing room and en suite bathroom (suite, shower over bath, two washbasins), a dramatic four-poster double with TV, and a children’s room with 3' bunk beds plus a single; smart bathroom (suite plus hand-shower) and door to garden. All bedrooms have lovely estuary views. Door to boat kit store.
Damages Deposit £250. A fun family house in a wonderfully peaceful location within a stone’s throw of the beach and ferry.

"A lovely property in a fantastic setting almost on South Sands beach - space in the property and views from all rooms are amazing and photos do not do it justice. As a group of two families with 5 children between us, it was perfect for a very relaxing holiday with both the beach, the ferry to Salcombe and wonderful walks on the doorstep. We had almost no need to drive anywhere. But property in need of some general maintenance and we had issues both with damp in the downstairs rooms (the property is built into the hill and in the shade for most of the day) as well as regular outages in electricity supply whenever we used an appliance so be aware on that."
