This duplex apartment is perfect for families and friends alike, boasting reverse-level accommodation, making the most of this enviable location. Spend your time time up in the spacious open-plan living room, which rests under the A-framed ceiling and is filled with natural light streaming in from the Velux windows. You can rustle up a home-made meal in the stylish kitchen, with local produce from one of the shops in the town, and get the whole group together in the dining area to catch up on your day. Relax into your evening on on of the sofas or head down to the games room with the kids and slump into one of the beanbags with a video game on the TV. This floor also plays host to the bedrooms, each well-presented comprising a super king-size double with zip/link beds for flexible sleeping arrangements, another super king-size double and a bunk room, ideal for those travelling with children. Outside is a terrace with an artificial lawn, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee in the fresh air as the aroma of freshly baked croissants drifts up from The Bake House below. This popular destination in South Devon boasts two wonderful beaches to spend a day with the family, as well as many on-the-water activities such as sea kayaking, dinghy sailing and surfing. Other attractions include the Salcombe Maritime Museum, the South Devon Chilli Farm and Overbeck's Gardens and museum owned by the National Trust. There is plenty to occupy your time, with this charming base to retire to at the end of each day.

The bakery opens at 7.30am and closes at 10.30pm. During peak times, one baker starts the morning shift at 6am but the only noise that might be heard at that time is an extractor fan being switched on when the doughnuts are being cooked! The fan on the balcony is for the freezer in the bakery and cannot be turned off. There is a delivery at 11pm. Every effort is made to ensure that this delivery does not run later than 11pm and that the noise is kept to a minimum.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea, boasting two beaches, North Sands and South Sands. The National Trust property Overbeck’s is not to be missed and for a more adventurous day try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing and kayaking. Enjoy the locally sources seafood and fantastic walks along the South West Coast path.
