There was plenty of cooking equipment, lovely and plentiful crockery and kitchen utensils. I think that there could have been an upright fridge freezer in the utility room instead of a chest freezer. Also, the sitting room was a bit chilly at night and we couldn’t work out how to put the gas fire on or turn the thermostat up any higher. The kitchen was so cozy , we spent most of our time in there. We had a lovely holiday and will come back again!

The house is a home not a holiday house. Everything you could need or did not know you needed was there. I cooked on an Aga which was something I always wanted to try. The local area had some great walks but just sitting in the garden watching the boats on the river was something you would never get bored of. We can highly recommend The Dolphin Inn which also does take aways. You can reach the The Swan Inn over the causeway when the tide is out just be careful to keep an eye on the tide coming back in. They do jugs of Pimms, a great risotto and delicious ice cream. We are definitely booking again next year as there are still so many things to see and do in the area. Thanks for sharing you wonderful home with us Sue, Claire, Lynne, and Ann.

We felt so at home we really didn’t want to leave. The house is very well equipped and we enjoyed the wonderful outside space. Bedrooms are spacious and airy. Sitting on the bench under the wisteria watching the boats and other river craft was the perfect tonic.
