Situated in a residential area of Malborough, Alegre makes the perfect base for a family break enjoying the famous South Devon countryside. With a warm, inviting feel throughout, this compact two bedroom terraced bungalow has an open plan living and dining space that makes it easy to enjoy time together in style.

After a busy day on the sandy beaches of Salcombe or Hope Cove, the living area makes a cosy space to curl up in front of the electric fire and enjoy a film. Or, when the sun’s shining, step outside onto the decked patio and enjoy the feel of the sun on your face while you dine al fresco.

When you retreat to the master bedroom and leave the kids to enjoy the bunk beds in bedroom two, you’ll be greeted by views of the surrounding countryside that make for a relaxing scene when you step out of bed after a long night’s sleep. If you’re new mums and dads, we can arrange for a cot and high chair to make things easier for that first stay with baby.

Malborough village has two good pubs, a well-stocked convenience store and an excellent children’s play area.There is also an excellent traffic free cycle path to Salcombe for family rides.

With the stylish coastal town of Salcombe just a five minute drive away in one direction, and the sandy beach at  Hope Cove ten minutes’ drive in the other, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to enjoy the scenery that’s made the South Hams an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
