23 Salcombe Retreat is the perfect lodge for a family escape to the South Hams. The lodge is fully equipped with everything you need to make your family’s break special.
As you enter the modern, open plan living area you’ll be struck by the quality, cosy feel that this lodge has to offer. There is a large, chocolate brown leather corner group sofa which is the perfect place to relax in front of a film or be entertained by the games console and range of games on offer. The lodge offers a fully equipped kitchen and informal dining area with all the amenities one needs for a fun packed holiday in the South Hams.
There are three generously sized bedrooms, the master has a comfortable king sized bed and large mirrored built in wardrobe. There is also another double room and the third bedroom is perfect for children, with great quality bunk beds, TV with DVD player and built in wardrobes. There is also a travel cot and highchair provided if needed.
Salcombe Retreat has a dog exercising area and children’s play area, it’s a 15 minute walk to the beautiful Soar Mill Cove and there are lots of other sandy beaches nearby - such as Thurlestone and Hope Cove. Salcombe town centre is a 10 minute drive away and Kingsbridge is a 15 minute drive away, so if you feel like venturing a little further afield during your stay you’ll find some days out to remember within easy reach.

...site is only a 2 minute drive from the local village and a 15 minute stroll to the beach. Salcombe is breathtaking and less than 10 minutes drive. The whole coast is really accessible and yet the lodge feels like a secret escape. Great for kids and adults, comfy beds, tv's in every room, two bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. Perfect. ...The lodge was bright, airy & modern with a superb view of the ocean. We had everything we could possibly need, plenty of towels, nice bed linen & a very well equipped kitchen. The 15 minute walk down to Soar Cove Mill was breath taking, the cove itself was beautiful & we enjoyed our evening stroll with our dog and a quick swim before the sun set. Loved the area, so many wonderful places to visit, lots of great seafood restaurants and all welcomed our dog. The site at Salcombe Retreat is so clean and well maintained & there were always people about asking if we were okay & had everything that we needed. We had barbecues out on the decking facing the sea, this is a beautiful area to watch the sun set & have a Pimms. Overall the holiday was perfect and we were blessed with sunny warm weather. We stayed at no 23 Salcombe retreat but all the lodges looked well cared for and very similar inside. Submitted by Vicki on 22/08/2016

...and dogs. It is a steep walk down to the cove but worth the effort. Lodge number 23 is very comfortable with a good outlook out to sea. We were a family of 4 adults, a 4yr old, baby and two dogs and found the lodge plenty big enough. Submitted by Jean on 11/07/2016
