Set in the picturesque Devon countryside, this is a perfect getaway for couples. The stable conversion’s tranquil setting, steeped in history, is the ideal spot for a romantic break. After a day of playing golf, exploring National Trust houses, or experiencing breathtaking country and coastal walks, you can return to this cosy retreat and curl up inside or out on the sunny terrace.

The open-plan lounge and kitchen area offers a welcoming space with a beamed ceiling. Relax in comfort on the sofa in front of the TV/DVD, and if you’re feeling peckish, the kitchenette is well-equipped to enable guests to prepare home-cooked meals with ease. Completing the interior is a master bedroom with a double bed and a modern shower room. The terrace outside is a delightful area to soak up the sunshine and enjoy a refreshing drink. Take a seat at the bistro table and make the most of the fresh country air.

Ideally situated close to some of the South West's most popular attractions, golfers can enjoy teeing off at the Shaldon Approach (13 miles) and Churston Golf Clubs (1 mile), and culture vultures can explore the nearby National Trust sites of Berry Pomeroy Castle (6.5 miles), Coleton Fishacre (4.5 miles) and Agatha Christie’s Greenway House (1.5 miles). What's more, the cottage is within easy reach of the vibrant seaside resorts of Torquay, Brixham, Paignton and Dartmouth, all of which are less than 10 miles away. Lovely, cosy, clean little house. Nicely decorated and everything in there that you need for two people.

Had a great time. Loads of exploring. Weather fine. Spent three days on the beach! The Stable was warm and cosy with everything we have needed. Blackpool Sands was very pretty and we went over on the car ferry which made this easier. Friendly butchers in the village plus a pleasant shop and post office. The 10 days hasn't been long enough for us and feel very sad to go home. Would love to come back again and do the things that we haven't had time to do!!! Thanks Jeremy and Tracey for everything.
