... a mile from the centre of Kingsbridge and its waterfront, yet absolutely in country, two cottages cleverly converted from former barns, sharing exclusive use of an indoor heated swimming pool (29’ x 11’ x 4’ deep, open 7am to 8pm) and games room (table tennis, pool table). You are welcome to fish (at half price) in three well-stocked coarse fishing lakes (tench, roach, carp).
The cottages are quietly tucked behind ‘The Hen House’, a fitness, health and beauty centre in a converted barn; you are welcome to book in advance a massage or beauty therapy or fitness class (yoga, pilates) and use the excellent gym at reduced rates. Payphone on site. Spring water. These are wonderfully relaxing retreats after a day exploring the beautiful South Hams.
Mixit Cottage is at the far end of the farmyard beyond the owners’ farmhouse and next door (well insulated) to the swimming pool and games room. Own small sitting-out area (table/chairs, barbecue). Open-plan living/dining/fitted kitchen (slimline dishwasher, washer-drier, microwave) with beams to apex, stripped floor (rugs), woodburner and TV/DVD. Stairs down to a double bedroom (6’ bed or twin) with French windows (balustrade) and bathroom (suite with separate shower). No children, except pre-crawling babies.

The most comfy recliner chair Ive ever sat in! And great to have the option of a Hen House massage or treatment on site and access to the swimming pool."
