Salcombe Retreat is in an idyllic position surrounded by National Trust land in an area designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The beach at Soar Mill Cove is a 15 to 20 minute walk away (downhill) and provides a haven of tranquillity. There is a beautiful sandy beach which is surrounded by cliffs with numerous rock pools to explore and climb with beautiful clear blue waters to swim in.You can also enjoy breathtaking walks on the South West coastal path which takes you along some of the most unspoilt coastline in the country including Bolberry Down and Hope Cove. It is also fantastic for bird watching, with regular sightings of Gannets and Peregrine Falcons.The pretty village of Malborough is nearby and Salcombe harbour is a 5 to 10 minute drive away and offers fine restaurants, bars, cafes and individual shops and galleries.

We have had a lovely week stay here in Salcombe. The shops are great and there is lots of nice restaurants. The Cabbin is lovely, very nice and cosy! Hope to see you soon!

We have had a lovely time here at the Salcombe Retreat. The Lodge is lovely and really well-equipped. The weather has been good to us as well as the staff especially the site manager Mark. Thanks for a lovely stay. See you next year.
