Overview

May Cottage is a beautiful three storey cottage in a fantastic location a minutes' walk from Dartmouth Town where you can enjoy the huge variety of art galleries, shops and restaurants. May Cottage has been designed to cater for a party of three and provides ample space if you planned on inviting your friends over for a catch up. It comes well equipped with quirky country cottage features such as an Aga, country sink and a colourful mixture of furniture. Perfect for your family holiday!

Kitchen/Dining

As you walk through the front door of May Cottage you are greeted by the gigantic kitchen and dining room, this room is the length and width of the whole property providing plenty of space for party at full capacity or if you're entertaining friends whilst visiting the area. The kitchen is based along one wall of the room which is well equipped with a toaster, kettle, Aga, country kitchen sink,  Smeg fridge freezer, CD player, a dining table that seats six people and a plush low level arm chair. Next to the kitchen and dining room there is a small utility room that houses the boiler, washing machine, mop and bucket and iron and ironing board. Please be aware that the steps from the kitchen to the sitting room are steep.

Living

The living room is on the first floor and is a vast space and has a minimalistic theme with wonderful splashes of colour. It features two vintage fireplaces, which are unavailable to use, a vintage writing desk and chair, a large two seater sofa, free standing arm chair, foot stool. For storage there is a chest of drawers with a lamp and a side table to place the array of magazines you might plan on reading whilst you're on holiday. There is also a flat screen TV with a DVD player available which can help to keep the children entertained on a rainy day.

Bedrooms

There are two bedrooms in May Cottage, both located on the top floor, and are light, spacious and have a glorious outlook of Dartmouth town. The master bedroom has a double bed, a storage chest with a drawer and lower cupboard, a bedside table and a lamp. The second bedroom has a single bed and there is also a bedside table and a collection of children's books.

Bathrooms

May Cottage has a cloak room and family bathroom. The cloak room is located next to the kitchen and dining room, it has a wc, hand basin and a radiator. On the top floor between the two bedrooms is the family bathroom, this family bathroom has a roll top free standing bath, towel holder, wc, hand basin and a wall mounted mirror with a small storage unit behind.

Parking 

Although May Cottage does not have it's own designated parking space, located at the top of the hill past Sainsbury's there is a park and ride for guests to use where you can purchase hourly, daily or multiple daily tickets. The park and ride is a 5-10 minute drive away from the property.
