Security deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £350, which is payable to Marsdens Devon Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.

Beautiful accommodation in a first class location. Parking can be a bit of a challenge but the walk to mayors avenue car park isn’t too far if you have to park there. The views across the river are amazing and the property is closer to the local shops, bars and restaurants than we realised.

We have stayed at the property previously so knew what to expect but it could do with safer knives as the handles come off, there’s no chopping board (eg for onions) and the fridge door doesn’t close properly. However my sisters and I love how spacious the property is, and the great location. We’re missing it already!

Do try Salcombe Dairy ice cream for the best ice cream in Devon! And Blackpool sands is a lovely beach - The Venus Cafe there is amazing! Bayards Cove is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places you can visit. Blueriver cottages were brilliant and the whole booking process was very easy. I would definitely use them again!
