As a group of 4 adults, the lodge was plenty big enough, clean and well presented. There was a couple of problems which were only minor, but they was rectified within an hour of making a phone call to the park owner. Definitely would book again, but in our interests we like to have the Internet, As it was none exsistant in our oakapple lodge.Sarah ‐ 14 May 2016
Fab holiday. One of the best locations Lodge very large . Fridge to small. Tub fab.Carole ‐ 14 May 2016
We found that the Lodge and Location were perfect for a quiet relaxing time. The Hot Tub was a bonus.Tony ‐ 19 Mar 2016
This must now be our 3rd visit and as always a very relaxing and great escape!! Beautiful surroundings and peaceful setting just what you need to recharge your batteries. Plus the owner is always very friendly and helpful and always made time for a chat even when this is a busy time for him taken up with the lambing season. We would highly recommend a stay at Bulworthy Forest Lodges.Patricia ‐ 19 Mar 2016
Peace & tranquillity at a great price. A real 'get away from it all' holiday.Gareth ‐ 15 Mar 2016
Fantastic if you want quiet and relaxation this is the place to goHelen ‐ 12 Mar 2016
If you want to 'get away from it all' this is the place for you. Very quiet, remote location, no facilities, just the lodges and wildlife. Wonderful. Lodge very well equipped and lovely and warm central heating. The roads and approaches to many lodges is very steep with some almost sheer drop offs over the edge of the forest cutaway, so I am glad we did not have children with us, my nerves would have been on edge. Fishing lakes good. We went in early March so the banks were muddy, but it didn't stop us. Caught some nice fish. No wi-fi or mobile signals. Nearest Tesco just 5 minutes away, a large store, very handy.Andrew ‐ 12 Mar 2016
Great lodge and setting....its out the way but that's what we wanted so top marks from us.Oliver ‐ 12 Mar 2016
S52013 was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed and the large dishwasher was a bonus. There were a few small maintenance jobs identified and the bedding was a bit dated, but overall the lodge is well designed, really warm and having the sauna was great. We felt that the holiday was good value for money and we would go back.Lucy ‐ 9 Jan 2016
Bulworthy lodges are really good value for money, lovely quite location just right for a relaxing holiday. Lodges have full central heating so you are never cold, great for forest walks and towns with in easy reach. Geof the guy with the land rover is extremely helpful if you require any thing. I certainley would recommend Bulworthy Lodges for a Holiday we have been coming here for 11 years and already booked for 2016.peter ‐ 6 Jan 2016
Enjoyed the peace and quiet a very relaxing time away.Lisa ‐ 30 Dec 2015
We had a lovely holiday at Bulworthy Forest Lodges and would stay there again. The surroundings are lovely and it felt close to nature listening to the owls and pheasants at night. My husband enjoyed fishing the lakes, and being only a short drive from the beaches for surfing. The weather was terrible over Christmas but the lodges were so cosy that it didn't matter. The site is very rural with single track road leading to it, so meeting other vehicles, especially farm vehicles could be tricky, but on the whole the roads were very quiet. It was about 10 minutes to the nearest Tesco and 12 minutes to Bideford.Lucy ‐ 30 Dec 2015
We had a lovely holiday but when arriving we had no hot water or heating but we phoned up and someone came to fix it but through the week it kept breaking down but there was a dish washer and showers so we managed but the holiday it's self was brill Christmas in woodland was so fantastic the owners even supplied us with a real Christmas tree which my 6 and 3 year old thought was amazing and the hot tub was relaxing too spent most the time in that. We will be returning t his was our best Christmas and the best holiday ever I think thank you to bulworthy lodges and see you again soon I hopeRachel ‐ 30 Dec 2015
The location and facilities are excellent, the only down side being the wet and windy weather both in May and December......Carne ‐ 30 Dec 2015
S52013 was a very nice lodge with everything you need for your stay. They even supplied washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets.Sandra ‐ 29 Dec 2015
A lovely clean well positioned lodge. Can not fault in anyway. Brilliant hot tub.Judy ‐ 22 Dec 2015
Utterly disappointed with our stay here, the lodges could be amazing with some effort/little money. Don't expect to find Soap/Cleaning materials or enough toilet roll when you arrive, needless to say there wont be tea/coffee either. Its a 20min drive to the nearest shop down a single carriage muddy road. The is no phone signal and the broadband didn't work in any of the lodges, also expect to see Hunts happening at the entrance to the site, we had to drive through a dozen vehicles which blocked the road with their 4x4's and dogs. There are much nicer lodges to stay at.Peter ‐ 19 Dec 2015
