Studio in the grounds with decking over a small lake. Lots of public footpaths, leading via woods and stream to dramatic cliff walks along Nat. Trust heritage coastline and to Heddon's Mouth.

The main part of the house

is original; two wings were added later. Hall with cloakroom (loo); living room

with huge inglenook (woodburner); step down to second living room with open fire, baby grand

piano, oak floor and French windows to

terrace with wonderful views to the high moorland of Holdstone Hill and

Trentishoe Down. Pretty fitted kitchen (dishwasher, microwave,

electric range with double oven) with farmhouse-style table/chairs seating 6 in

centre. Boot room (freezer) with door to annexe (see below). Scullery (sink, washer-drier, tumble drier). Dining room with oak refectory table (seating 12

comfortably). Single bedroom. Loo.

Two steep staircases (stairgates)

up to six more bedrooms, all with pretty views – the master double (5’ bed) with balcony, a double (5' bed) with washbasin, a double with single futon and

washbasin, another double, and two twin rooms. Three bathrooms

Attached to the house is Trout Cottage, a self-contained annexe for two, rather more modest (limited heating) with internal and external access to open-plan living/dining/kitchen (hob) and 6 steep steps down to a double bedroom with en suite shower-room (suite).
