Bentwitchen Barn Cottage near North Molton (Devon) is a barn conversion that has aimed to retain many of the buildings' original rustic features, the property has wooden floors, stone walls and exposed oak beams. There are three double bedrooms on the ground floor (note no kids under 8 years old).
Accommodation
The kitchen has a traditional Aga for cooking, there are two ovens (fast and slow) and hobs on the top too. An electric twin hob is also provided in case guests prefer, there is also a microwave. The kitchen is also well-equipped a variety of pots, pans, kitchenware, etc. The fridge has an ice-compartment.
The property has a wood-burner in the sitting room upstairs, a basket of logs are provided to get you started. Further logs can be bought from the owners, or in North or South Molton.
There is underfloor heating throughout the ground floor, which keeps the property warm in the cooler months. The heating can be adjusted to suit your preferences.
The water supply comes from a private supply.
Sorry, no children under 8 years of age due to the suspended walkways on the first floor. Babies (not crawling) are welcome, but cot and/or high chair cannot be provided.
