On the ground floor, either side of this impressive hall, two bedrooms – step down to a double (5’ bed, footboard) with dressing room, big arched sun-filled windows where carts were once driven in, en suite bathroom (bath plus hand-shower, washbasin) and separate loo, and a twin (zip-linkable to 6’ double) with en suite bathroom (suite plus hand-shower); utility room (washer-drier) off this bedroom. From hall, stairs up to open-plan living/dining/fitted kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, double electric oven/gas hob) with woodburner backed with Delftware tiles, and gorgeous long rural views; 2 steps down to pantry (freezer) and loo; 2 steps down to snug with woodburner, TV/DVD/Blu-ray and glazed doors to patio (table/chairs, outdoor table tennis), lawn and small stream. An excellent place to enjoy total serenity with easy access from a main road.

"We were open-mouthed when we entered The Coach House. It is beautiful and huge and spacious and so well equipped. Evenings spent in quiet contemplation and conversation in the main lounge; the odd evening spent in the second lounge watching the TV. Breakfast with a view of the rolling hills and sundry wildlife to die for. Fiona and Colin were as helpful as could be; Fiona in particular made it clear that nothing was too much trouble. Muffins, freshly baked, with speciality teas available when we arrived. A small started pack of goodies; milk and suchlike left for our use. We did not wish to leave. Fiona and Colin's recommendation for Fish and Chips at Squires was top notch. Stay here for a week, you'll never want to leave."
