The cottage provides an ideal all year round base for those wishing to explore the splendour of Exmoor. The centre of the village with its choice of pubs, restaurants, tea rooms and individual shops is just a short drive or an exhilarating down hill walk.

Beautiful cottage with the most amazing views. Only a short walk into Lynton where there are lots of cafes, restaurants and interesting shops. Would stay again with no hesitation.

A spacious, well equipped character house in an absolutely stunning location. Panoramic views from all windows and garden over roof tops of Lynton and out to sea.

This is our first time we have used Marsdens for booking a cottage and certainly will not be the last. From the booking to the end of our holiday, Marsdens have always kept us informed and been available to answer any queries. Our stay at Briar Cottage was superb. Lovely clean and roomy cottage with stunning views across Lynton and the Bristol channel to Wales. Our 2 Dogs loved the garden where they were safe and secure. We will certainly consider another visit to Briar Cottage and we both felt sad leaving. We have the new Marsdens cottages magazine already..But Briar cottage could be on top of our list!! Big thank you to you all at Marsdens and will be in touch soon
