About this property

Lynmouth is located on the northern edge of the Exmoor National Park, noted for its breath-taking natural beauty and unspoilt landscape. Once a fishing village, today it is popular with tourists. Lynmouth, with the River Lyn running through it, near the sea, nestles right next to Lynton on the cliffs above and the two are connected by the famous funicular cliff railway. Old Lyn Cottage is in a wonderful location right next to the River Lyn, with beautiful sea views. Situated above a small gift shop, this stylish apartment is set over two floors. The open plan living area is bright and spacious with a smart, well equipped kitchen and has wonderful views. On the second floor are two bright, colourful bedrooms, a double and a twin bedded room, both have access to a balcony which has elevated views of the river and pretty harbour.

On the coast and by the Exmoor hills, this village sits between the river, shore and hills and offers restaurants, tea rooms and pubs. There is much to see and do, including a water-powered cliff railway and the Rhenish Tower as well as the National Trust's Arlington Court and Watersmeet riverside walk. Porlock is 16 miles east, Minehead and Ilfracombe are both within 20 miles, with the hills of Exmoor dotted all around, and you can shop in Barnstaple 20 miles away.
