Outside, there is a glorious sun deck, another real highlight of the property, offering plenty of space for outdoor entertainment, along with seating, a BBQ and yet more panoramic views across the valley. There’s even a six-seat hot tub for you to relax in and enjoy a glass of bubbly, while the two sun decks and south-facing aspect of the garden means you can soak up every last drop of sunlight. The property sits within the vicinity of some amazing beaches; just four miles away is the award-winning Woolacombe beach, one of the finest beaches in the West Country and a firm favourite with families and surfers. Alternatively, take time to wander the beautiful, private, formal gardens at your leisure. Valley View itself is nestled in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty; from the end of the drive is a footpath in both directions, linking to the scenic South West Coastal Path. Those who prefer to explore on wheels can find the Tarka Line Cycle route, running through the valley, while there are several fishing lakes in the unspoilt woodland, just a ten-minute walk from the property.

Head to Ilfracombe, approximately 1 mile away, and sunbathe on its glorious beach, stroll along the picturesque harbour and enjoy fine dining at one of the numerous eateries that have earned the town a well-deserved reputation as the foodie capital of North Devon. Our host Kevin was Fab , he gave us fab info on where to go for days out, and kept the jacuzzi in tip top condition, can not fault anything. Would highly recommend staying here.

Paying over £4000 i would have thought it would have had a toilet and sink in the shower/sauna room downstairs. if this is not something you think is beneficial then a plan of layout of the rooms would be more beneficial on the Sykes website. I think personally if this was put in the description it would help people to choose as i would have personally have chosen a different property. There are 2 toilets/shower rooms on ground floor yes only one bedroom. top floor bedroom with en suite and twin single beds on top level looking over the stables but they have to go downstairs to use toilet/shower. then lower ground do have shower with no toilet or sink and has a louvre door to enter from bedroom which is not clearly stated in description. The rest of the property is perfect. and the caretaker is obviously nearby if any problems which we did have with the TV in the lounge area going blue in picture and this was replaced within hours with a brand new one which was perfect. Thank you.
