Mrs Cook
Excellently positioned property for accessing all the surrounding area & attractions especially the coastal villages & beeches. Property is very quaint & cosy with a lovely garden overlooking the estuary. The proposed new conservatory with the kitchen & dining area will certainly be worth a revisit next year. Highly recommended if you are looking for a thoroughly relaxing break with lovely walks & local attractions to visit.
Mrs Jackson
Inglenook Cottage is ideally located to explore this area of Devon. It is a well stocked accommodation with everything you need for your stay. The kitchen is small but well resourced and apparently is the area of the cottage soon to be remodelled which will be worth a revisit to see. There are some lovely places to eat in Instow, a 15 minute walk straight down the hill. Walking back up can take a while longer at the end of the evening but more than manageable. There are lots of footpaths off from the cottage and the Tarka Way is close by. You can walk along this to Fremington Quay for a great breakfast or lunch. The only thing to consider is parking - it is limited especially in school time as the property is close to the local primary - which was not a problem in itself! We would not hesitate to book this property again if visiting North Devon.
Mr Wilson
Inglenook Cottage is a delightful and very homely place to stay. It is well equipped, homely and comfortable. Its location in a tiny hamlet on the outskirts of Instow is peaceful & relaxing and there are wonderful views from the upstairs windows. The woodburner & provision of logs, firelighters & matches make for cosy evenings in the lounge and the large bath was blissful to relax in after long walks on the coast path. We loved our 5- night stay and were blessed with sunny days to see & enjoy the area at its best. Many thanks to the cottage owner, Lyn the housekeeper & Marsdens Cottages, who really made the booking, arrival & departure process so easy & informatively helpful.
