The historic market towns of Barnstaple and Bideford are within easy reach and offer some good shopping and nightlife. Ilfracombe is also close to Exmoor National Park which boasts miles of rolling landscape and hidden villages, perfect for walking or cycling lovers. The hand carved Tunnels Beaches offers some of the best rockpooling to be found and is also a busy wedding venue.
