The picturesque village of Georgeham also offers two good public houses, a church and post office/stores. Staying in an area of outstanding natural beauty, you will be close to miles and miles of golden sand, amazing surf, stunning views and coastal paths to name but a few.


chertsey house has 4-bedrooms, sleeping 8, including a ground floor twin bedroom and ground floor family bathroom. The remaining 3 bedrooms and shower-room can be found on the first floor. Also on the ground floor is an open plan kitchen/dining area leading to the large lawned garden to the rear of the property. There is also a separate living room with feature electric fireplace and flat-screen TV. Pets welcome.

To the right of the entrance hall is a comfortable lounge with large flat-screen TV and DVD player. The central hearth features a modern electric fireplace with remote control functions. There is comfortable seating for 7+ and views over the large lawned garden. For children’s entertainment there is a useful toy box for their enjoyment. A stair gate is also in place to ensure that your children are safe.


To the left of the entrance hall is the large open plan kitchen, dining room and family area. Perfect for entertaining, there is formal dining seating for 8 and a sofa for relaxing. From the lounge area, you access the garden and outdoor entertainment through a patio door.

There is a modern contemporary well equipped kitchen with all the fixtures and fittings you would expect, including: Fridge, a small freezer, 4-plate stove, oven with grill, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher and washing machine. Ample cutlery together with fresh and lovely matching poppy crockery and mugs is provided for parties of 8. The sociable kitchen/dining area opens up to a large open plan living space that includes an Ercol dining table that accommodates 8 with ease.

chertsey house has 4 bedrooms. All of the bedrooms are lovingly decorated and contain real pine or modern furniture. The decor in the main is light, bright and airy, while the lightly colored walls add a sense of serenity.


Master bedroom (First floor): With large double bed. This room benefits from its location with views over the garden and wall-to-wall cupboards on either side of the bed.

Twin bedroom (First floor): A lovely twin bedroom with neutral theme, loads of storage space and armchair.

Double bedroom (First floor): Decorated in a relaxing blue theme, this bedroom has stunning views over the local church with plenty of shelving/storage.

Second twin bedroom (Ground floor): Downstairs there is a entrance hall leading to the downstairs twin bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom also contains a dressing table with mirror and small wardrobe.

chertsey house has two bathrooms, a family bathroom and a shower room: The family sized bathroom is located on the ground-floor, which is fully tiled and has a bath, bidet, toilet and pedestal basin. The shower-room can be found on the first floor with tiled corner shower cubicle, toilet and pedestal wash basin.

Garden mainly laid to lawn with various shrubs and flower beds and peaceful surrounds, evoking tranquility and relaxation. Chertsey house has a good size patio area adjacent to the property with comfortable garden furniture including a picnic bench, a further garden bench with seating to accommodate 8+. The front of the property, nestled in a quiet Georgeham street, has various walkways into the countryside and a babbling brook near the entrance.

    “Comfortable house, ideal for relaxing holiday” Reviewed August 10, 2014 NEW We had a great 2 weeks in this comfortable house with plenty of space for 6 adults and 2 children. The house manager and owner were welcoming and we were pleasantly surprised to have the beds remade after the first week. There were also plenty of towels provided. The kitchen was big enough to easily cook for 8. Wifi, DVD player and TV were also useful facilities to have.The private garden was completely secure and ideal for relaxing in after a busy day at Putsborough Sands. Good pub just 3 houses up the road and the village shop is round the corner. A very reasonably proced property for this area in the school holidays and we would stay again.

    Beautiful well appointed house with helpful agent and owner.Nearby Putsborough beach is probably best I have visited for sand rocks and safe surf and big enough to accommodate large numbers without any crowding.Narrow lanes to acess are minor drawback but plenty passing spaces. Georgeham pleasant to wander round (doessn't take long) churchyard opposite interesting with one or two surprises. Large enclosed garden brilliant for children and dog.There is parking outside house but I preferred to park twenty feet down lane on other side- matter personal preference. Overall a good value property.
