Very comfortable and well equipped, particularly the kitchen & laundry. Rob next door was very helpful & friendly. Lovely location and great village amenities - shop, pubs and playing field/ play ground.

A lovely cosy cottage that was very stylishly decorated using quality furnishings too. We loved our stay there and it very quickly felt like home.

“Beautiful Traditional Cottage with Excellent Modern Touches”Reviewed October 4, 2012I booked Sunshine Cottage through Choice Cottages with my girlfriend and another couple over a recent weekend and, having stayed in a number of different cottages in the Croyde and Georgeham area over the years, this was probably the best so far.The cottage has two bedrooms, one of which is set up as a master bedroom, with the second usually set up as a twin. However, in our case, the twin beds in the second room were zipped together and made up as a double following a phone call a couple of days before we drove down. The cottage itself is a very pretty traditional old building, but the interior has been very well modernised, with a lovely bathroom, big kitchen with a massive wooden table (great for sitting at and getting stuck into a bottle or two) and modern appliances, including a large fridge and plenty of crockery and cooking utensils. Only criticism was the annoyingly shaped mugs, which look quite stylish, but only hold a thimble-full of tea!The living room is probably a little small for four adults, but, given we spent most of the time around the table in the kitchen, it wasn't really an issue. It was a nice touch to find that the wood burning stove in the living room had already been set up with newspaper and kindling when we arrived. The cottage also has quite a large entry lobby, with washing machine, dryer, a large sink for rinsing wetsuits and plenty of space for hanging wetsuits up and storing surfboards. Would definitely book again.
