A beautifully presented 1 bedroom retreat in the popular seaside village of Croyde. Perfect for couples or small families, sleeping up to 4 people comfortably.
Croyde village has excellent pubs and restaurants, surf shops, a mini supermarket and a Post Office, all within a few minutes walk. Recently renovated, this bright contemporary holiday home enjoys lovely rural views, and is just a 5 minute walk from Croyde beach! Other popular beaches including Putsborough, Woolacombe and Saunton are just a short car or bus journey away.

A bright and airy dual aspect room with a French door leading to the patio and access to the rest of the garden.
Home entertainment includes a flatscreen TV with Freesat, a DVD player with a selection of DVD/CDs, iPod dock, books, games as well as inclusive WiFi internet access.
The vibrant 4-seater sofa is a top quality sofa bed, and so this room doubles as a second bedroom - with a single wardrobe and chest to store your belongings. There is the added luxury of underfloor heating too!
kitchen
Located on the first floor, the kitchen/dining room has a stylish red and white theme. There are pleasant rural views from the sink - towards the fields and hills beyond Moor Lane. Appliances include a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, oven, electric hob, microwave, 4-slice toaster, kettle, as well as all essential kitchen utensils, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and recycling bins.
There is a TV with Freeview at the dining end of the kitchen, which has a circular dining table and four chairs. A high chair is provided upon request.
bedroom
Ground floor double bedroom with a bay window and lovely view to fields and the distant hills beyond Moor Lane. Furniture includes a double wardrobe, single bedside chest and dressing table with further single chest. Other useful items include a suitcase stand, a switch for the bathroom heated towel rail, a USB charging socket, and a travel cot can be provided upon request.

The modern bathroom has a bath with shower over, WC with slow close lid, chrome heated towel rail, wash basin, mirror and shaver socket. The tiled floor is lovely and warm in winter months with underfloor heating.
Bath towels are provided.
outdoors
Enjoy use of a private landscaped rear garden with lawn and paved areas. A highlight is the protected wildlife pond with stream and waterfall. A lovely place to sit and relax outdoors, with a table and chairs for 4 people. There is a bird table and feeders as well as a bird box for Blue-tits etc. A charcoal BBQ is provided for summer months and there is a useful drying rail for wet suits and storage space for surfboards.
There is parking for 1 car.

Simply Stunning The booking experience was really straightforward, and when I emailed due to not receiving a confirmation email I got a response within 2 hours which was really helpful. The cottage was lovely. The appliances provided were more than we needed. The lady came to greet us when we arrived, and bought us some milk which was a lovely gesture. The standard of the cottage was exceptional, and it really made our stay. The selection of board games and DVD's was also a great added touch. The garden was also lovely to overlook during the evenings. The cottage is also in a great location, inbetween the beach and village which was ideal. The property manager was really kind and helpful. She greeted us on arrival and directed us where to park. She also let us leave the car at the cottage during the check-out day which was also really helpful.
