The lodge was immaculate and beautiful inside although the windows could do with a clean. The outside area could do with a tidy up lots of cobwebs around the table area.

The beds are awful and there is no space in my he lodges especially for 6 people. It’s very poor quality and needs refurbishment throughout. Not to mention we were evacuated at 2am due to a gas leak and there is zero outside lighting.

Three events characterise our holiday. Firstly our lodge was not ready for 4.00pm. We were told the previous guests checked out late, but that was not altogether true as we saw the chalet at about 10.30 and the cleaners materials were in the lodge. Second we discovered as we were about to go out to dinner that we could not lock the main door. We had to call in security who locked it. We chased three times for someone to check the key we had been given. Some one came, squirted oil in the lock and said it was OK. It wasn't. On the 4th occasion I was more persistent and it emerged eventually that we did not have a key that could operate the main door. Third we foolishly chose to have a fish and chip supper. It was the worst fish and chips we have ever had. The fish was overcooked and dry. I took a piece of fish back to demonstrate the poor quality and one of the assistants said it was disgusting. I could only agree!
